Koala Zone, Hawks Nest, New South Wales | |
| | | | Description The Koala Zone is located on the left hand side of Kingfisher Avenue right at
the Hawks Nest end of the 'Singing Bridge' which joins the twin townships of
Hawks Nest and Tea Gardens.
One of the walks within the Hawks Nest area goes through the koala zone and is
known locally as the Swan Bay Walk.
Starting at Tuloa Avenue, turn left into Mermaid Avenue, then turn right into
any street and across Kingfisher Avenue to Albatross Avenue. Turn left and
follow this road to Monterra Avenue to the end At Kiewa Street and then turn
right. Follow the bush track keeping left until you are walking north -
parallel with Mungo brush. Follow the track northwards. |
