Teresa Garnham started Doggy Sleepovers in 2003 because as a corporate executive who travelled frequently, she found it difficult to obtain quality care for her beloved Simba and felt guilty and fretted each time she had to go away without her. So she decided to leave the corporate world and set up a business offering the type of care she wanted for her own pet.
Doggy Sleepovers is an inexpensive service where your doggy stays with a personal carer who is also a dog lover. We offer a complete boarding service for dogs. Your dog will:
Stay with a full-time carer matched to the personality of your dog
Stay in the carers home and have full run of the house (including watching TV)
Get pats ALL DAY!
Be walked a number of times every day
Sleep in the house - often in the carers own bedroom!
Be pampered and loved
Have a fantastic time ....all while you are working or on holidays. No more worrying about your dog!
DOGGY SLEEPOVERS For One or More days is perfect if you are going away for a weekend or for a longer holiday and do not want to take your doggy with you but also do not want to leave him alone or in a cold kennel with a lot of strange dogs.
All dogs will get fed to your requirements with the food you provide so they do not get upset stomachs from foreign foods. Its best to keep the routine going.
If your dog is on any kind of medication, we will administer it as prescribed.
DOGGY DAY CARE IS perfect if you want to help break up your doggy week by taking them to day care a few times a week. This helps relieve doggy boredom, gives them more exercise and some company during the working week until the weekend when you can spend more time with them.
Both for Day Care and Sleepovers all dogs need to be up to date with all vaccinations. You can show us copies of these or have your vet email them to us. All dogs need to have a collar (leather or webbing) with their name on it. Dogs cannot be left with choker or any similar metal collars.
